Good Morning, Titusville!
This weekend, the Tony award-winning musical Spring Awakening opens at the Titusville Playhouse. If you’re a fan of powerful performances, this is one you won’t want to miss!
For the car enthusiasts out there, I came across the coolest vehicle ever. While it’s not in Titusville, I couldn’t resist sharing it with you!
But first, I am setting up a Discover Titusville Dinner Club. (or Dinner Party). It’s not one that you are obligated to every month. You chose when you want to attend.
This is basically how it works. You sign up ($15.95), you take a quick survey, and the algorithm matches you with 5 other like-minded people. You will each be notified where and when to meet the others in your party. The restaurant will be expecting you. You may or may not know the others in your dinner party, but that is what makes it fun. Getting out and meeting other people in the community.
Towards the end of dinner, each party at the various restaurants will get a notification on where to meet for an optional after-party.
Everyone pays for their own dinner and drinks, though if I can arrange it, you might get a drink on the house. The best part is you get to meet others in our awesome Titusville community and possibly try out a restaurant you haven’t been before. My question for you is…
Would you be interested in meeting others for dinner?
Okay, so back to this interesting vehicle I was telling you about. It’s the…
GM Futurliner

This incredible vehicle from the 1930-40s is a masterpiece of art deco design, with a cockpit-style driver area perched high at the top. At 33 feet long, 11 feet tall, and 8 feet wide, it’s a striking glimpse into the past that somehow feels connected to the future—kind of like Titusville itself!
There were 12 built. GM hired clean cut young men right out of college to drive them from small town to small town, and present a glimpse into the future, like Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress if any of you remember that. I’ve included a link to the video documentary if you want to see it. Click here to view.
I’ve never seen one of these before and thought it was the coolest thing.
Have you ever seen one of these in person?
