First, I want to wish you and your family a great Memorial Day weekend. For many, it’s the weekend that signals the beginning of summer—a time for the beach, boating, and being outdoors. We should all try to make the most of it.
There are two national holidays that come to us through great sacrifice. I believe Memorial Day is second only to the grandest of them all.
As you enjoy this weekend, take a moment to reflect on those who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we can sleep peacefully at night and enjoy the freedoms we have. Filling your heart with gratitude for these freedoms is one of the best ways to honor those who gave everything.
