Good Morning! As we gather on this Good Friday and look ahead to the joy of Easter Sunday, we’re reminded of hope, renewal, and the incredible things humanity can do when we come together.
It’s been an especially inspiring week here on the Space Coast, as Artemis II launched this past Wednesday, sending four astronauts on their historic journey around the moon.
Wishing you and your family a peaceful Good Friday, a joyful Easter weekend, and a beautiful start to the weekend ahead.

NASA/Joel Kowsky
As many of you predicted, Artemis II launched Apr 1st, and is current on it’s way headed towards the moon. I’ll be honest, I didn’t think it would go April 1st, but Wow, that was an amazing launch. People came from all around the world and it couldn’t have worked out better for them. It was a beautiful day and it lifted off only minutes behind schedule.
Right now, the Orion spacecraft is on it’s outbound transit to the moon which will take about 4 days. See Orion timeline. Let’s keep our astronauts in mind for a safe journey to the moon and back. Go Orion!
A Heartwarming Moment
I wanted to share a small but touching moment I witnessed recently.
While waiting at a stoplight, I noticed a young man standing in the turn lane. At first, I wasn’t sure why he was there, especially with a truck approaching in the distance. He didn’t move, and I wondered if he expected the truck to stop or go around him.
Then, I realized what was happening. He was waiting for two others—a young man and a young woman—to cross the road safely. He stood there, ensuring they were okay before moving on.
It was such a simple act, but it reminded me how small gestures of care can make a big impact.

Meet Yoshi & Her Tiny Crew — One Week Old and Already Stealing Hearts
Five Friends Animal Rescue shared the sweetest update this week.
Just one week ago, Yoshi became a mom — and she's absolutely nailing it. This incredible little cat is keeping her newborn kittens fed, clean, warm, and completely adored.
She's settled so beautifully into her new role that she's even started letting her babies be held, a sure sign of just how safe and loved she feels. The kittens? Fat, happy, and right on schedule.
One curious set of eyes has started peeking through, and the rest won't be far behind. In the meantime, the litter has been practicing their best hisses and spits — which, at one week old, is just hilarious. Big personalities in very tiny packages.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of this community. If you'd like to help, Five Friends Animal Rescue has an Amazon wishlist ready to go or they gladly accept food, litter, and gently used supplies as drop-offs. Every little bit makes a big difference for this family and the others like them.

Here is a super cute picture from Leo Echeverri. He created two and they were both adorable. It was hard to choose which one to share here. We love to see kids art or any art for that matter. If you would like to see the growing display of art or you have art you would like to share.
