Good morning, Spring is in full swing here on the Space Coast, and this week Titusville is absolutely packed with things to do. Whether you're heading outside to celebrate Earth Day, checking out some of the amazing car shows, catching live music, or just looking to learn something new.

Earth Day Festivities
Head out to the Enchanted Forest for one of Titusville's most beloved free event.
The annual Earth Day Festival is packed with something for everyone: craft vendors, food trucks, live music, guest speakers, local wildlife exhibits, and guided nature walks. Kids will love the face painting, hands-on crafts, and conservation activities.
It's a great day to get outside and celebrate the beautiful natural environment we're lucky to call home here on the Space Coast.
A Funny Story and a Question for You
I wanted to share with you a little story from my week that gave me a chuckle, though not initially—and maybe get your thoughts on it.
So, every week, I take care of the heavy lifting, load suitcases, the cooler, groceries, hanging clothes for our weekly work commute. Earlier this year, I pulled my groin playing with the grandkids, and it’s been slow to heal. It’s not a big deal though it does bother me sometimes.
Fast forward to an air show we attended recently. After standing for a while, we found a bench to sit on. A lady joined us and mentioned she had a bad back. My wife, bless her heart, chimed in, “Yeah, my husband has a bad back.”
Now, here’s the thing—I have never said I have a bad back! Sure, I’m a little injured right now, but I’ve always carried on with the usual tasks, even with the pulled groin. Bad back, geez!
Now, here comes the funny part. On our drive home, I jokingly told my wife she’d have to carry everything inside because of my “bad back.” We got a chuckle from it. Of course, I ended up carrying everything anyway—beer, wine, groceries, the works as I always do. 🙂
So here’s my question:
Was I being too sensitive about the “bad back” comment, or did I have a valid reason to feel a little misrepresented?
